Our weekend in Boston

I knew there was a reason for us getting lost every fifteen minutes in Boston. It's to see street after street of delightful classic brownstones...

...and modern urban life.

We wandered through Hahvahd Yahd,

ate at Finale, strolled down Newbury Street, dined in Coolidge Corner,

all while bundling up more than the average Bostonian. It was so cold, at one point I contemplated putting on my snowboarding gear.

There is hope! Sul Lang Tang can be had on those cold winter days.

Although, I will have to travel far into the city for ethnic cuisine because my very-L.A. husband passed on the opportunity to live in this adorable New England home in the city...

...to live in this ultra luxury, ultra L.A., ultra far apartment complex in the boonies.

My one consolation is that if I'm going to live in the boonies, at least it will be beautiful. You all will have to come visit and we can walk across the road for some ice-skating, hiking, and skiing (!).

And, one cannot underestimate the comfort a highbrow shopping mall can bring to a lonely L.A. girl: South Shore Plaza

After an exhausting weekend, we were grateful to come home to L.A. In the spirit of Tinseltown, we spotted a familiar-looking face. I kept telling DJ that all Chinese people, even international chinese film stars, are resourceful and save money by flying coach.

Doesn't this look like Jackie Chan in Seat 17D?

All in all a draining but productive weekend. Special props to our friends Enoch and Karen for dinner even though they have their hands full with two young boys. And a special shout out to Wowo in hopes that has a long life.

I like Boston. Looking forward to going back.
