I ate two perfect strawberries today. They were in fact so flawless that I had to take a picture of them. This may seem silly to you but really have you ever seen such good looking strawberries? I remind myself of my friend Jacob, who recently professed his love to a piece of cheesecake before eating it.
I know I'm going to have strawberries in Boston, but seeing as 80% are grown in California, they won't be as affordable or as sweet as these.

silly, silly woman... but cheesecake topped with fresh strawberries sounds good right about now.
i'll make you guys some fruit topped cheesecake when i get home.
champagne really brings out the flavor in strawberries.
