Onto our mini tour of Boston:

Flags at Boston City Hall. Note the rainbow flag, a remant of Boston Pride Week and a reminder that MA is the bluest of blue states.

170-year-old Quincy Market. Very touristy. And of course I have to turn my nose up at such places because I am technically not a tourist.

Courtyard of the Old North Church, where in 1775, the hanging of lanterns led to Paul Revere's Ride and the beginning of the Revolutionary War the following day.

A quaint little street in North End.

Charlestown Bridge.

Approved by Michael Dukakis back when he was governor of MA, the Big Dig is the largest and most expensive construction project U.S. history, burying some of the city's major highways beneath the city, adding several tunnels and bridges and dumping tons (literally) of dirt in surrounding areas, including the city of Quincy.

Park Street Church, founded in 1809.

Wollaston Beach with the city in the background. To say the beaches here are unlike CA is an understatement. We'll have to see how "the Cod," as DJ calls it, compares.

The big korean hulk has scared away all beachgoers at Wollaston Beach. We hear the water has high levels of bacteria, so it's probably not good to be in the water anyways.

Don't I look rather sickly from doing nothing all day long?

Imagine looking out of your window and seeing Boston Harbor. The part of Quincy where the "haves" live, vs. us "have-nots."

The boardwalk at Marina Bay. A 2B/1B condo in a neighboring building sells for $429K. Feels just like home!

Revere Beach, where we think an old man left his comfortable seating spot because we were yellow folk.
Now go sign my guestbook and tell me how much you like my photographic skills.

You should get Picasa to sort your photos and Hello to post your images to Blogger. Google owns both these pieces of software and also Blogger. It's real simple.
