At the moment I'm savoring one of my last chances to stay up past 2AM and watch things on TV such as the second replay of "Jerry Maguire" or reruns of last season's "West Wing". Because as of October 3rd, I have a job! YAY!! The organization I'll be working for is an established non-profit that promotes volunteerism and community service in Massachusetts - right up my alley! To celebrate, I've booked myself a ticket back to L.A. for a few days to spend time with my parents and friends.
Thanks very much for your encouragement and belief in me, even when it seemed like I would never find anything appropriate. I'm thankful but also humbled by the fact that God provides repeatedly, even when I lose doubt and lose faith and even when I forget about all the other things He's provided in the past. And I need to be thankful more often, because He is always good, not just when things go my way.

Praise God! I'm so happy for you P! That's awesome that He had it all planned out. We have to talk soon about Thanksgiving plans.
Are you working for City Year?
