The big project for which I've worked almost around the clock and on weekends came and went today. Being six weeks into my new job, I felt like this conference was my proving ground, and it had to be top-notch no matter what.

It's finally over, and I'm happy to say it went really well! Praise God.

DJ has been so helpful and supportive these last few days. I walked in the door today, almost asleep from being on the road, and found pear and goat cheese spinach salad and homemade clam chowder in a bread bowl waiting for me.

On another note, I came home from work late last night and found him watching the Monday night West Wing marathon, all by himself. I felt so proud. Matt Santos for president!

Awww... That's pretty good. A Korean boy cooked! He really loves you. ;)
Really though, that was really sweet. I'm glad that you two had this month to see more of each other. So happy to hear that things went well with the event. You were in all of our prayers, sista. :)
Hope you've recovered from it all. We missed ya.
