So my crazy dad bought a full-priced airline ticket and took a 24 hour trip from LA to NYC on Friday in order to collect 3 free upgrades on United. This is not unheard of; he has taken a 3-day trip to Taiwan by himself in order collect enough frequent flier miles to take him over the 100,000-mile mark for that calendar year. Long time no see, eh? What your dad is is hilarious! One part of me laughs, the other part of me thinks, wow, what a great idea. I guess it's only natural to start thinking like that when you start having to pay for 4 tickets for every vacation you take. Have fun back in SoCal!
your dad is soooo funny. i had a good laugh, but i also think that it's great that he's active and adventurous. i wish my parents were more like that. :)
