So the big game was on last night, and I'm so glad I watched all five minutes that I did, for 2 reasons: to see the beautiful L.A. weather on TV (it's like a mirage in this winter desert) and to see Matthew McConaheeyyy on TV.
DJ has been sulking about USC's loss all day, but I'm personally glad Texas won, a) because USC is USC and I'm still a Bruin unlike the fair-weather bandwagon-jumping fan that I live with; b) any team McConaheeyy cheers for, I'm there; and c) if USC had won, there would be startling, animal-like shrieks coming from our living room. Some of you know what I'm talking about if you've watched an athletic game with him.
Instead, I fell asleep to a rare peace and quiet, with a king-sized bed all to myself and a down comforter wrapped completely around me just the way I like it. We have an official rule in our household that people who make unhuman noises while sleeping with congested sinuses (similar to what I'm hearing as I type this very post) are banished to the couch.
But seriously, not until they create earplugs that are comfortable AND block out noises on the level of airplane engines OR God causes a miracle (which is what my mom is praying for) will I have a peaceful night of sleep.

yeah, that was an amazing game. i couldn't breath the last whole quarter. i was cheering for the longhorns myself, mainly because they were the underdogs. unless they're notre dame or penn state in our household, we go for the underdogs.
as for matthew mcc... i used to think he was super cute too, but i don't know. several interviews i've seen of him kind turned me off. i don't know what it was. still objectively very cute though. ;)
would you believe it if i told you that i am the one yelling and screaming these days during football games after 4.5 yrs of marriage? craziness!
dude snoring totally sucks. sometimes at night when i'm at home, I can hear dad through the wall. We either have a) paper thin walls or b) dad is loud.
DJ is a bandwagon hopper. Boooo. Boooooooooo. He deserves to be on the couch just for cheering for U$C.
Why has DJ turned his back on UCLA? booo....
