(photo from nbc.com)I'm sad. The West Wing just came to a close. I cried over the end of a presidency that never existed. That is how sad I am.
DJ could not sympathize until I reminded him that he asked for a hug after USC lost the Rose Bowl; after UCLA lost the NCAA Basketball Championship Game; and after the Lakers lost game 7 of the NBA playoffs. And then he suddenly understood. Except that this is worse because the West Wing does not have a chance to come back next year and try again.
There will never again be a president like Jed Bartlet.

I just lost a lot of respect for DJ. That's no good when a blog post can do that.
Oh, I'm so behind in my blog reading...
I didn't cry but I was very, very sad that night and it's all I could talk about for the next few days. After finals I'm going to binge on West Wing DVDs.
