This puppy is so adorable. I vowed never to let a dog lick my face or lips but that of course has gone out the window. How can one resist those soulful little eyes??

I can't believe we've only had him for seven days, and that he's improved so much. When he came home a week ago, he still had the wobbly puppy walk, was finding his voice, was scared of all things rubber, peed and pooped all over, and cried every second we were out of his sight. Now he's running all over the living room like a possessed dog; attacking toys, furniture and clothing; learning how to be independent; and generally peeing and pooping in the right place. Of course, I can't take any credit for the improvements since DJ was the stay-at-home dad this week. I didn't think we were going to survive this new puppy but I think it's going to be okay.
