Is is it weird that I find this very fascinating? This is part of the chest x-ray that was taken on me this afternoon, as a precaution since I've been coughing for a month now and it feels like there's an elephant standing on my rib cage. It's just so amazing to see each of these perfectly developed bones fitting and working together like a well-oiled machine. Whether or not you believe in a Creator, our bodies are such a miracle.
The doc thinks I just have inflammed rib muscles and suggested that I take naproxin or ibuprofen even more diligently than I have been. I didn't think that was possible, but I'm definitely not one to turn down sanctioned pain killers.
On another note, I just finished my first MBA schmoozefest: two receptions back to back and a full day of students, faculty and administrators talking about how wonderful the BU School of Management is. Before this grade-school-like jitters made me a little apprehensive about being a student again, but after today I am 100% pumped up and ready to go!

i'm gonna be anal pharmacist and say it's spelled naproxen and yeah...it's amazing the complexity of the human body. definitely not arisen by chance.

Wow. It's so clear. Nice ribs! You should see the Body Worlds exhibit if it ever heads your way. It's really fascinating. Congrats on grad school, by the way. Sounds like lots of work and lots of fun!

Wow, I hope you start feeling better soon. I love looking at your rib film, it's cool to see your friends insides especially when you're used to seeing the inside of people every day.
Sounds like you had a great time at the MBA schmoozefest, as you call it. You're gonna do great as a student again!
