wow~ thanks for sharing this. "nessum dorma" is really difficult to pull of esp it was pavarotti's signature piece. he did marvelous! isn't it amazing that a talent like that had never before been discovered? i guess maybe there is some good in these silly reality shows. it was funny to see that female judge's face though. get a grip! ;)
yeah, the girl judge's face was a bit much. and you can't beat the whole "lump of coal . . . diamond" business. who wouldn't want to be described this way? he has potential, though. it all comes down to whether he's willing to put in the work to become the diamond he's capable of being.

i ended up watching the semi and the finals. i'm so surprised to hear simon. has he softened up a bit?
