From this past Friday to Thanksgiving my fellow bschool rats and I are participating in a marketing simulation. Think: four laptops in a breakout room, reams of market research, hours of arguing over ad budgets and sales force allocations.

We are managing an over-the-counter cold medication over the course of ten simulation years and will be graded on how much net income we accumulate. At our best we were 3rd out of 14th, we are now 6th.

This weekend we have the pleasure of taking a break from the frantic decision-making to write a paper. At 2:20 a.m. on a Saturday night. Woo-hoo.

I have the TV on in the background to keep me company as I work. I am currently fascinated with how awful Madonna is in this movie and how much more awful her fake british accent is - an accent that grows thicker when she's in scenes with Rupert Everett.

On another note, Tom Brady is undefeated. I don't know much about the Patriots or football but all I know is Tom Brady is undefeated and, in the words of a wise woman, that's hot.
