Today has got to be the worst day of b-school thus far. The problem child fought back this morning when I tried to micromanage him (which is a strategy recommended to all of our teammates by a higher power). And then he cornered me after class at which point he and I engaged in a shouting match in the hallway. And then I then proceeded to return to a room where six lingering classmates endured a terrible display of anger venting on my part.
The problem child had the audacity to criticize the quality of my work, imply that I have a negative influence on teammates, and accuse me of being controlling. I will own up the last point but that's it and the rest of my team can vouch.
I know that I haven't been a great witness in this whole situation and but honestly I don't know what else to do. This has been the hardest working relationship I have dealt with in my seven years of working.
