Who needs the writer's guild when there is election season?

I am happy with tonight's results - with nearly 1/2 of voters registered as independents, I believe the good people of NH are a more accurate representation of my vote.

Just the other day I was telling a friend that I think Hillary should take the low, authoritative edge off her voice in order to appear more approachable and sincere. (Not that I think that makes or breaks a president, but if you want to get to the heart of public perception in order to get votes then you gotta do what you gotta do!) During tonight's "victory" speech, you could see her going back and forth between the Hillary-the-nutcracker voice and the Hillary-I-can-actually-cry voice. This subtle transformation, combined with the whole thing about finding her voice in NH and putting young people behind the stage at the rally reinforces the fact that she puts forward the Hillary that she thinks people want rather than the Hillary that she really is. Now does this matter in a President??

yeah, i thought she actually did great at the NH debate. she really made me think twice. it's that whole question of whether people vote on like-ability of a candidate. should it be solely on issues? or is it important to look at the person-hood? i'm wondering that myself these days...
so much uncertainty and drama in this election, isn't there? or was it always like this, and i just never tuned in? nonetheless, fascinating.
