People have been asking me what it's like where I work, and I think this perfectly encapsulates the unspeakable uniqueness that is my employer.

For Christmas this year, every employee at headquarters received a turkey. Yes, you read that correctly. A 10 lb Jennie-O turkey. And two cans of cranberry sauce, a bottle of cranberry juice, and a bottle of chili sauce.

A frozen turkey was at the top of my Christmas list this year, right above Entourage Seasons 1-4 on DVD and a Soia & Kyo Jacket. I couldn't be happier.

Do you doubt? Here's proof:

I know I shouldn't mock, since I'm just a lowly MBA intern and I should be grateful for a good nutritious meal. It's better than not getting anything at all, and just adds to the quirky memories I will have once I'm done in T minus 17 days.

My dear little turkey rested for a week on our fire escape while I pondered what to do with it, since I don't have the slightest clue how to cook a turkey. But thankfully, Ping and Eric agreed to cook it for Christmas dinner. Here is the turkey in all its glory:

Mmm...juicy. It must be the Beamish Stout.

And here is the cutest dog in the world, sitting nicely in front of the Christmas tree:

Many thanks to our generous hosts for cooking up a storm. Merry Christmas!
