DJ had to work on the day of our anniversary (I'm such an understanding wife), so to celebrate, on Saturday we went to Top of the Hub, on the 52nd floor of the Prudential Center.
The view from our dinner table was unmatched:

Our first dish was Saute Foie Gras, better described to us po' kids as fatty duck liver. I could not bring myself to eat more than a bite, having heard about the cruel way in which the ducks are raised. Naturally DJ ate his own portion and mine.

Second course:Native lobster and avocado citrus salad. Anything with avocados is fine with me.

Third course: Pan seared halibut - DJ's favorite.

Fourth course: Grilled tenderloin of beef au poivre. But really, give me the gorgonzola cheese and anything can taste like the best meat in the world.

Fifth course: Tuna Tempura. Not a big fan non-asian asian food, but that's cool.

Sixth course: Summer salad

Seventh Course: Chef's dessert tasting

Let's take a look at that view one more time.
At the end of the evening we discovered that we were charged an extra $7 for entering into the parking garage five minutes before the beginning of the evening rate period. I thought it ironic that DJ was more upset about spending that extra $7 than $250 on the dinner.
$250 doesn't seem like a good ROI. But hey, I'm not a foodie, and no longer the sugar momma.

Wow, that "Native lobster/avocado citrus salad"...doesn't look like a salad at all...it's barely half a bite! How did DJ get full at this meal?
