On another note, during her travels this summer, she spotted my future dog. Dachshunds are so adorable because their stubby little legs give them extra character and humility. They have to try twice as hard because they are only half as tall. And those eyes seem to see right through you. I especially love it when they get a little chubby and have to hold their bellies up to avoid dragging on the ground.
Now I just have to find one that fits in my purse.
