11 degrees tonight. YAY - no longer do I have to dread the impending cold; it's finally here! I know it's really cold when our unheated apartment temp drops from 70 to 65.
I want to prove (to myself and everyone else) that I am a big girl and can survive negative windchill temps despite the fact that all the movable parts on my car are frozen in place. Windshield wipers, wiper fluid squirter, door lock, door, radio antenna, window...you get the idea.
Despite the outdoor cold, I felt very warm indoors, playing games with new friends AND watching the season premier of 24. The force of Jack Bauer cannot be resisted; I think I'm going to have to take an hour away from WW reruns to watch this on Monday nights.

Whee! I'm so glad I decided to read your blog today (Monday January 23rd) cause otherwise I would have forgotten about my date with the TV tonight to watch 24! Too bad your parents are in town - T is going to a Celtics game and I'll be home alone.. I'd have asked you to come watch 24 with me!
