The concept of the NBA all-star game didn't click for me until today when I watched the starting lineup and asked this: "whoa! what kinda game is this? nash, yao, kobe, duncan...aren't these all the best players?"
duh.
I don't really mind the jumping up and down and loud clapping and oohs and whoas and giggling, except that he keeps telling me to watch this move or that player, like I know what's going on and actually care. I guess I should be cooperative, seeing as I've made him sit through many glorious episodes of Sex and the City.

For one day of the year, it's like imaginary land in the NBA. The greatest of the greats play on one court, together. It would be as if the cast of Friends met up with the cast of Scrubs and things were super funny for an episode.
