We just got back from a weekend in Portland, Maine to celebrate the wedding of a co-workers and to savor the last few days of normalcy before DJ begins his general surgery year. This was the first catholic wedding I've been to; coincidentally, the two weddings I'm attending this summer will both be Mass.

Portland Head Light. We really should do more sightseeing in New England during these next few years.

Portland, ME, a really quaint and lively shopping/nightlife district...

...and the birthplace of famed American Poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

hey P, tell DJ that the album should be done by the end of July (maybe sooner). we just have to re-record a couple of Lucy's drum parts, and then Brian Hsieh's mixing it w/ me and Alex. sorry to use your blog to leave him a message, haha. =) hope you guys are doing well! miss you two.

We did miss you guys, gee, you were only gone for a weekend! Your pictures look great, and you are so lucky that you had such beautiful weather for your weekend away. We have yet to go up to Maine - it is something that I'd like to do before, well, you know.. December. Perhaps I should talk with Timo about planning a weekend for that :) Thanks for the inspiration!
