This is too good not to post (borrowed from karenoch.com).

Japanese researchers have isolated the gene that decides whether your earwax is dry or wet.

Can someone who has wet earwax tell me what it's like because I didn't know there was a difference. Dry earwax is evidently linked to less sweat and less BO. The good thing is, it's found universally in Han Chinese and Koreans so my future kids will have dry earwax and no BO too. Phew!

I have wet earwax. I sweat, and I have BO as well. I think most Asians don't have genes for this, but I also don't turn red when drinking, am not lactose intolerant, and my vision is 20/20 or better still.

My brother has dry earwax, doesn't sweat and doesn't require deodorant.

For lack of a better description, wet earwax is orange in color, like the Blogger logo, but a bit more faded. It's consistency I would have to label closest to peanut butter, although there is never enough to spread on toast.

Michelle wants me to mention that all Koreans have a blue butt when they are born, but Chinese from the Mongolian lineage have this too.

Also, the split pinky toenail indicates this Mongolian lineage as well.

wow, a little gross description from m@, but very informative as well. yes, blue butt i am. so, i suppose you are mongolian lineage through and through, eh, P? :)
