This Christmas my family flew out to Boston to visit us for a few days. Like all good Californians, we reveled in the snow.

I am standing on the edge of the pond. Guess where DJ is?
On thin ice!
(I've been waiting to say that since I took the picture)
Christmas seemed like a blip in the radar this year, with school being so overwhelming right until the end. I did get a chance to reflect on the reason for the season, and am again humbled and grateful. There really is very little to complain about or be dissatisfied with and my new year's resolution is to be more of a glass half full type of girl. As I write this I'm wondering if it is wise to announce this to the world, but maybe this will increase my chances of keeping it.
There is lots of fun stuff planned for the next couple of months, including ski trips to New Hampshire, wedding of two old friends in San Francisco, and spring break in Montreal. In the meantime, a couple more weeks of work and then it's back to school!
