I feel like a super good citizen. I just voted AND contributed $2 to Brookline Public Schools by buying a banana nut and cinnamon spice muffins. Whatever PTA president decided to hold a bake sale 10 feet outside of Precinct 13 is a money-making genius. I will be sure to remember that when I am PTA president.
I have never felt so good about voting, for so many reasons - the history in the making, the fact that the next person in office could help this country turn over a new leaf, and most importantly, the weight of my vote. Growing up in CA, because of the time difference, the networks are sometimes on the verge of declaring a winner by the time we can make it out to the polls.
I hope I made the right decision.

i hope to make the right decision too, when the time comes. in april. ugh!
but it sounds like a wonderful day, doing your civic duty. :)
Really, if you voted for a presidential candidate today, you endorsed F'ing up this country even more. I know I did.
make sure there aren't any needles in those muffins! those PTA moms are sneaky!
