Now that McCain is on The Verge, I remember why I think Obama is going to run right over him. If you look at the two side by side, McCain is like a musty closet and Obama like a breath of fresh air. Obama is hip (think Black Eyed Peas). McCain is crotchety and old school. McCain has had decades of opportunity in Congress to make things happen. Obama's political trajectory has been explosive, and the feeling is that he has more good-doing ahead. An Obama inauguration will make history. A McCain inauguration makes me think - couldn't the Republicans do better? McCain will keep us in Iraq for 100 years. Obama will...I don't know.

This isn't to say McCain wouldn't be a better President. He just won't get elected. But I've already eaten my words once this week so what do I know?
