Certification of Emotional Support

DJ and I are making Thanksgiving plans, and as with every vacation, I need to figure out what to do with the puppy. On the last big trip we made out to CA, we brought him along, before the airlines began charging $200 (Jet Blue) or $350 (United) round trip for a pet. I'm sorry, but if I have to pay $350 to put him under the seat in front of me, I'd rather pay $350 for the seat next to me so he can ride in comfort.

So today I was looking at creative solutions to this problem and came across this on the Jet Blue website.
"[Pet fees and restrictions] do not apply to certified service animanls or emotional support animals; click here for guidelines pertaining to certified service animals or emotional support animals."

"An emotional support animal must be accompanied by documentation from a licensed mental health professional stating the following: that you have a mental health-related disability and having the animal on the aircraft is necessary, that the individual providing the assessment is a licensed mental health professional, and that you are under the care of the individual providing the documentation."
Any psychologists out there?
