My friend Johnny (also young and unrecognizable) pointed out that our parents are as old as we are now. Except that back then they already had a house and kid and I am still renting, paying tuition, and carrying a backpack. Hmm.

Yes, at my age, my parents had two kids and were building their dream house. BUT - my dad had horrible jobs that kept them going. It wasn't until he was about 40 that he was actually doing what he wanted to do.
i think maybe the striped shirt and shorts, second to the left from your mom. purely because of proximity to your mom. i actually have NO idea. :)
it baffles me that my mom was my age with two kids, when she first immigrated to the states, away from her family to a completely foreign culture... it's quite humbling actually.
