As if I needed another reason to watch the OC, Fox has announced that George Lucas will appear as himself on the May 12th episode, in the storyline involving Seth and his new graphic novel. This appearance, along with the E3 trailer earlier in the season, demonstrates to all you detractors that the OC is a pop culture force to be reckoned with. (Or, it demonstrates that Lucas Film Ltd. paid a lot of money for product placement.)
