I just dropped $250 at mba.com for the GMAT.
There's no turning back now, and if I don't actually study for this, I'll be moded because all of you will know.
Speaking of "moded," all of you from CA will be interested to know that "moded" is not a word known to people out here. Our friend Simon and I had to explain what it meant to some friends a few weeks ago. I assure you it was quite a mature conversation.
Our Korean friends C and KR also hadn't heard of the term "BTS", one of the greatest Korean contributions to the English language second only to "kimchi." I hate to use this as a way to bring up the KR's blog since she is so classy and feminine and was only exposed to this vulgar concept because of us, but here is her explanation, for those of you who don't know what BTS means.

As long as we're bringing back the 80's, don't forget to tell them about burned too.
"Do you want some lotion, because you just got burned!"
Um, I guess all west-coasters don't know what moded means.. maybe it's a Cali thing. Care to explain? ;)
Oh, and you could just join the group of other studiers like CL to give you some accountability for studying for the GMAT. Do you have a test date already?
Before I moved to S. Cal, I never heard of "moded". But my wife (s. cal native) uses that term ALL the time, so now it's a part of my everyday vernacular :)
too bad that so-called "classy and feminine" girl is such a slob!!!! my husband heartily agrees. hehe. ;)
that same husband goes, "what's moded?!"
what the?!!! don't worry. i just explained it to him. i think all that studying is going to his head. all info other than anesthesia is being oozed out. ;p
